Senior Associate Dean Academic Student and Faculty Affairs
In addition to school-wide administrative duties, I am currently the founding Chair for the Association of Schools and Programs in Public Health (ASPPH)'s committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Public Health, and Co-Chair of this organization's Task Force on Zero Tolerance for Harassment, Discrimination, and Racism in Academic Public Health. This work is guided by my social justice and health equity lens in personal and professional work. For a number of years I have studied the disproportionate burden of tobacco related illness, and the modifying influences of racism in the African American Community. I continue to benefit tremendously from the scholarship and collegiality from members of this Network and the University Community. A space for these continued relationships provides a welcomed addition to WVU. I look forward to growing and learning together with all those who seek a connection from the FJN .
