Outcomes

Learning outcomes will be person/unit dependent and documented through a reflective leadership narrative (with potential longer range outcomes on academic unit metrics.

Program Elements and Evaluation

Each enrollee will participate in six individual leadership coaching sessions (1 hour each). Individual coaching sessions will be provided by the associate provost for academic personnel (Tracy Morris), with the possibility of additional coaches joining over time. Up to two cohorts may be enrolled each year (July-December; January-June). In their individual sessions, participants will focus on a specific area of change agency of relevance for their department/school. As such, goals are person/unit dependent.

Each participant will submit a reflective leadership narrative documenting their identified goals and progress made. Each participating cohort also will meet as a group at the beginning and conclusion of the individual coaching series to discuss their leadership challenges and successes—and as a means of fostering peer support. Group sessions will be 90 minutes each.
